Outline of Play
The play is set in an old vicarage at Christmas time.
The cross-currents of family feeling are especially noticeable, when many people are less happy and comfortable with the season than they would like to be. They are afraid of the magnitude of the conflict which is produced between their attitudes to life.
In the course of the play the characters come to see each other for the first time as they really are.
